A convenience store with fuel pumps is planned for 6827 Gulf Breeze Parkway, on the southside of Highway 98, near the southern terminus of Edgewood Drive. According to plans submitted to Santa Rosa County Development Services, the store will be approximately 6,372 sq. ft. with a 9,909 sq. ft. fuel canopy. Under the fuel canopy, there will be 10 pumps.

With the close of 2024 came the close of Jimmy B’s Pizza in Tiger Point. The restaurant, located in a strip mall near the Tiger Point Walmart, had been serving pizza pies and other Italian food for the better part of 18 years. Chelsey Freiermuth, who took over for the restaurant’s namesake upon his retirement in 2023, said the decision to close was a difficult, yet necessary one.

“A catastrophic failure.” Those were the words Holley Navarre Water System used in a customer alert concerning a break in a 30-inch water transmission main belonging to FairPoint Regional Water System (FRUS). The break occurred Friday, Dec. 20.

Plans are in the works to expand Holley Navarre RV Park.

According to an expansion proposal submitted to Santa Rosa County Development Services, 50 additional RV spaces will be built north of the existing Holley Navarre RV Park. The proposed RV park expansion will be built on 8.2 acres of land owned by Brian McLeod, the owner of Highlander Homes LLC and the existing RV park.

Navarre Parkway will soon have a new automotive body shop.

Joe Hudson’s Collision Center, an Alabama based automotive repair chain, is expanding their Florida operations and the 6900 block of Navarre Parkway is the next repair shop to be built. Sitting on two parcels, the shop will have a floor area of 11,460 square feet.

Another coffee chain has set its sights on opening a location in Navarre.

7Brew, a drive-thru coffee chain with 256 locations across the United States, has submitted plans to build a store at the corner of Prado Street and Navarre Parkway (Highway 98). The store’s address is 8534 Navarre Parkway. The site is currently home to a church and was formerly the home of a multi-tenant retail, which included Turtle’s Nest gift shop and All American Heroes subs.
